| AFLACIN Eye Drop is indicated for the treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis, keratitis, pre & post operatively. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
| Dosage | |||||||||||||||||||||||
| In mild to moderate infections: Instil one or two drops into the affected eye(s) every 4 hours. In severe infections: Instil 2 drops into the eye(s) hourly until improvement is obtained following which treatment should be reduced. |

| Contraindications | |||||||||||||||||||||||
| Aflacin is Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the drugs. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
| Special Precautions | |||||||||||||||||||||||
| As with any anti infective proloned use may result in overgrowth of non susceptible bacteria, including fungi. If super infection occurs and clinical improvement is not noticed in 7 days, the use of oflo must be discontinued and appropriate alternative therapy initiated. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
| Nursing Mothers | |||||||||||||||||||||||
| It is not known whether Aflacin is excreted in human milk following topical administration, because of the potential of serious adverse reactions from oflo in nursing infants, a decision should be made whether to discontinue nursing or to discontinue the drug, taking into account the importance of the drug to the mother. | |||||||||||||||||||||||

| Transient ocular burning or discomfort, stinging , redness may occur. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
